Description

Excursion to the Acropolis, Acropolis museum and the great excavation of Elefsina.

  • After the visit to the well know Acropolis and its museum in the center of Athens we will go to the small, but not less insignificant town “Elefsina”. Elefsina is often translated as “Eleusis”.

    Elefsina is one of the three European capitals of culture of 2021.

    Here you find a large area of an excavation site of the time of the Mycenaean and Middle Helladic period.

    After the visit you can enjoy a lunch with typical traditional Greek kitchen – there where the locals go to eat.
